Bear Valley Unified School District Transportation Department

✦All major and minor maintenance of 21 (twenty-one) school buses, which also includes meeting all regulations set forth by CHP and DOT.
✦All major and minor maintenance of 18 (eighteen) white fleet vehicles (white fleet vehicles are any vehicles other than a yellow school bus) plus 4 loaders, 1 dump truck, lawnmowers and snow blowers.
✦All parts ordering which includes ongoing price comparison through local and off the hill vendors.
✦Ongoing weekly training of the maintenance staff including:
✴All OSHA requirements
✴Review proper installation of engine components, transmissions, 45 day service, tire mounting, engine rebuilding, etc...
✦All documentation on storm water testing as required by the State Water Resource Board
✦Annual CHP terminal inspection

✦An inspection of our terminal is completed every July and is required by law.
✦The following are some of the comments we have received:
✴2009 Carrier is rated satisfactory at this time. Carrier is encouraged to maintain the same level of compliance.
✴2008 Carrier is assigned a satisfactory rating at this time. Carrier is encouraged to maintain the same level of compliance.
✴2006/2007 Terminal is given a satisfactory rating at this time. Carrier continues to demonstrate a significant level of compliance. Keep up the good work!
